I have no idea why, but I had a recent want to pick up some digital Casio watches. A good friend swears by them and has a fantastic blog of watch reviews, covering a raft of different makes and models.

The digital Casio watches in particular have always appealed to me, but in recent years I've been slightly obsessed with the rise of smart watches. Something changed and the appeal of something simple really resonated with me. I ended up picking up the AE-1200WH-1B and W-218H for about $35AUD each. They feel like an absolute steal.

🤑 They're cheap. Really cheap. 💪 They're robust. 💦 They're water resistant. 👁️ They're not tracking my every move, which is surprisingly liberating. 🔋 The battery lasts 5-10 years (!).
